Snowpaws-Special Victims Unit © Inc.

What We Do: We take in injured, sick and abused Siberian Husky's and Alaskan Malamutes & Alaskan Klee Kai from all over the country. We make sure that all animals receive any and all medical attention including shots and being altered before being adopted. If you have found a husky or malamute, We may not be able to take them in, but if you could foster the animal for us, we could get help for them.

Miss Sallie Ali came from Jefferson County Animal Control. With many thanks to Paws & Jane for helping transport her to us. She is going to need sponsors to help her receive the medical attention she deserves. The tips of both ears have been damaged beyond repair by fly's. As you can see in the photo her eye is crossed. She will need to see a specialist about her eyes and the usual medical expense. She'll also needed to be tested for heartworms, hookworms, tapeworms & all the rest. She is just a doll! So lovable, very active and always on the go! She can see, though how much we are not sure of at this time. She is full grown and is app. 3 years of age, and will not grow any larger. She weights app. 30 to 35 pounds. She is such a breath of fresh air with so much love to give. She has such a sweet little girl voice too when she Woo's at you.

SPRING HAS ARRIVED:

And with spring comes those nasty little critters that can harm and kill our companions.

Such as Ticks & Mosquito's. Don't let them harm your pet. Protect them with an easy applied protection. Ask your vet for the one that would suit your pet best.

It is with deep sadness that Husky Rescue has lost a very special lady.

Lois Leonard

Lois passed away on

 April 18th, 2008

She had done so much for Siberian Husky's all across the US & then some. I don't know of a more dedicated woman then her. She has helped many start their own Siberian Husky Rescue (such as ourselves), given beyond her call of duty. She will forever be missed.

God Speed Lois
